Everything you post is ours ("Forumsland" or "RUNETECH") and we can manage the content as we wish. Content posted does not necessarily represent the views and opinions of us and we cannot be held liable for it. We reserve the right to do whatever we want with your account, and it will remain property of RuneTech.
The rules apply for everyone, administrators, moderators, and normal members. If, however, you see someone break one of our rules, please report them to us in the Report forum.
1. We do not endorse or support pirating software. Any content hinting or directing to this kind of software will be removed without notice.
2. Offensive comments are not allowed. This includes racist, rude and aggressive comments as well as threats or victimization of any kind. This is often referred to as “Flaming”. Moreover, please do not post in all caps.
3. No Advertising. This includes linking to a site or deliberately making an account for advertising purposes. Saying links to other sites is fine (ie. RuneHQ) however if you are advertising a product (for cheap cells phones go here), it will be removed. All spam bot advertising products or services in ANY forum will be banned on-site. We will not tolerate any attempts to spam our forum.
4. No Spamming. Do not make any posts that do not contribute to the topic or forum. This also includes using leet/1337.
5. Porn is strictly prohibited on the forum. Posting it, links to it, or encouraging other members to view it, will result in the prompt suspension of your account.
6. All information submitted to RuneTech will not be handed out however hacking attempts are possible. We will not take any responsibility for stolen information.
7. Don't publicly question a staff member's choice. Instead, send a Private Message.
8. Voiding any of RuneScape's terms (selling gold, accounts, distributing keyloggers, etc) will result in an IP ban without notice and will not be tolerated.
9. All staff openings will be posted in the Staff Relations forums. If you request to be on staff in any forum when there isn't an opening, your chances will be lowered drastically. Impersonating a staff member is also prohibited and falls under this rule as well. Instead of telling them they are breaking the rules, please report them.
10. Bug abuse of forum bugs is strictly prohibted. We do give out IP bans to ALL users whom void this rule.

Member - 20 Posts Needed - Green Mask
Forum Regular - 100 Posts Needed - Red Mask
Advanced Member - 200 Posts Needed - Green Party Hat
Experienced Member - 400 Posts Needed - Blue Party Hat
Remember, if you post on a rule breaking thread that post will not tally into the system. Spam posts will be removed so they will not be tallied either. Go get those party hats!

I'd like to elaborate on a section of our rules relating to spam. It's no secret that more spam bots have been appearing lately, and as a result, we are very strictly enforcing it.
To better learn about this serious issue, I've created the following section of our rules to explain.
What is a spam bot?
A spam bot is a bot that posts a topic at random for advertising purposes. The topic will encourage you to buy something random.
What should I do if I see a spam bot?
If you see a spam bot, please do not reply to its topic. In doing so, the bot may be inclined to create even more topics, thus worsening the problem.
The best thing you can do is to report the topic in this forum on the dedicated thread.
Are spam bots permitted in the advertising forum?
No, they are not. Our advertising forum is there so our members may support their own sites and services. Spam bots clutter the forums with unnecessary threads, making the threads of our members more difficult to find.
