I have been reading in detail about Facebook advertising as against Google Adwords. After doing some related research, I have come to a conclusion which I would like to share with enthusiasts like you.
a) It is extremely important for an advertiser to identify his advertising goals. As an advertiser paying for the clicks, it is important for you to focus on the fact that your ad is targeted to the most appropriate audience. Your landing page must take your user to the best products that you have to offer.
b) Targeting the right set of audience is very important, as most of the advertisers are not sure of the right set of audience who will be interested in their products. For example, if you are operating a cosmetic store which sells dazzling nail colors and bright lipstick shades, then your user base would be young women. On the other hand, if your service is available in a particular area, focus on the targeted area and run your ads in the regional language.
c) Keyword targeting is one of the best ways to narrow down your audience to a greater extent. Include such keywords in the ad title to which your potential customers can relate.
d) It is extremely important to determine that your product stands out in your ads. Write clear and crisp ads for your targeted audience and take advantage over your competitors.
e) Always keep in mind to make a simple ad which can be understood in just a sight. It must be easy to read and also cater to the choice of your users.
f) Your ad must highlight your product or services in the best light. Do not opt for a run of the mill advertisement. Make an ad which is different and unconventional yet easy to understand.
g) It is observed that images are far more impactful than written context. You can use an image to highlight your product so that the viewer can remember it.
h) Last but not the least, your landing page must be truly attractive, easily navigable and user friendly. It must be capable of luring the audience for long.
